I have  been really bad about blogging lately. This summer really kicked my butt. My cousin and I started sewing (more on that later) and we kind of picked a crazy time to start. We are both in the process of  moving and it has been nuts trying to start a small sewing business, raise small kids, and pack up your whole house! But, we LOVE to design and sew, so that helps pull us through during this busy time!

Sad to see summer go... But, fall is my FAVORITE time of the year! I cannot wait for fall scents,  pumpkin patches, apple picking, leaf piles, pumpkin pie, Hazel in cute tights, boots, oversized hoodies, scarfs...I could go on and on! So... goodbye summer and hello fall!

The kids and I have been trying to by outdoors as much as possible these last couple of weeks.
Lincoln is very much against having his picture taken these days. I begged and begged him to let me take his picture and he finally said "Ok.. for one kiss." Deal! Pretty sure I got the better end of the deal on that one. :) I'm so excited to see Hazel standing on her own, I may take about 100 pictures too many. She is getting annoyed with me.

Umm, yes. Those are PIGTAILS!!! I may need some practice, they are a little uneven...

Ok- I promise I am not going to take a picture everyday he goes to preschool. But, he is just so darn cute. Maybe I'll go for every other day?

Lincoln had his first day of preschool last week! He LOVED it. Hopefully, it stays that way!
I saw all these cute pictures of kids holding chalkboards on their first day of school that says what they want to be when they grow up. I asked him, and he said a Police Officer. But, then he changed it to Super Hero. I told him he could be whatever he wanted to be when he grew up. So, he then told me he wanted to be grass.  I decided against him holding a chalkboard that says "When I grow up I want to be grass."

Hazel wanted in on the action.

He did not even say bye to me. Totally ignored me.
