Today is rare disease day and we are SO thankful for this rare girl in our lives! She has changed the way we look at the world and we so are thankful we were chosen to be her parents!
* Only 1 in 43,000 people are diagnosed with KFS and sprengels deformity affects less than 200,000 people in the US.

I hope she never stops grabbing her toes. :)

I cannot believe my little girl is 21 months! Her personality has being getting so big lately. She is absolutely hysterical but SO shy.  She hardly says a word when others are around, but is a complete chatterbox at home when it is just us around.  She is talking so much and putting 4-5 words together and it is killing me! I dropped some food on the ground today and she screamed "mama make a mess!" She also likes to say "Hazel still playing" and "Bubba mean" all the time. She lets us know if Lincoln messes with her. " bubba hit back, bubba push, bubba hurt neck." Lincoln cannot get away with anything anymore. She is also obsessed with the Frozen soundtrack and sings it all the time.  She  sings "Let it Go" on repeat and loves the "summer" song. We were in the car waiting to pick Lincoln up from school and she sang "Do you want to build a Snowman" almost word for word. She even said "Elsa? Anna go away..ok byeee!"  I'm not ready for her to be talking that much! She is quite sassy too. Tells me to "go away" all the time. :) She is very opinionated in what she wears.  She loves to wear "pretty dress" or "ballerina dress".  Throws HUGE fits if I take something off or put something on she does not want to wear. Total diva!  She is so tough though, and she is going to have to be with two brothers and her health issues. She had an inguinal herina repair surgery and was back to her normal self in no time. Took a rough  fall down my parents stairs the other day and didn't shed a tear, just got up like it was nothing. Girl will cry hysterically for 20 minutes if I take her damn tutu off, but can totally handle falling down a flight of stairs and surgery.

Lincoln's class had a small Valentine exchange on Tuesday. Now, he is just really confused when Valentine's Day actually is. Basically... my kids  think it was yesterday. We went ahead and put our red on and had some small Valentine Day fun. His mind is really going to be blown on Friday.

I found her outfit thrifting and it reminded me of a vintage valentine card.
She wanted to wear something more fancy for the big day. "ballerina dress"

His class had a  card exchange. I made these the night before at  10pm. I am 100% sure not one child in his class will understand them, or even know who Shel Silverstein is. But, he is my absolute favorite kids author... and it is all my pregnant brain could think of.  So, I just went with it!
*The pictures are really bad too.

We celebrated Lincoln's fourth birthday with his current obsession, Skylanders. And let me tell you... these guys are not very cute. One of them barfs up lava for crying out loud. But, Lincoln LOVES them, so I knew his party HAD to be Skylanders. We had so much fun celebrating with family and friends! Last year, Lincoln was not very interested in opening presents, but that is all he talked about for days before his party.  He wanted a lot of bug stuff, which he got. He is just so happy and I am living in fear of waking up with an ant colony crawling across my face. He used any birthday money he received to buy more Skylanders for his collection and I have gained 10 extra pounds eating left over cake.

Here are some party pics. We were snowed in all week, so I ended up re-using a lot of stuff from his Monster's Inc. Party.
Warning-I took a bunch of pics for his baby book, so there is a lot. :)
For his party favors we made some bean bags with some fabric and random bean bag filling from a project I never started. He loved getting to help make them.  I also made some chocolate covered cookies to match one of his favorite characters, Eye-Brawl.

I was not sure which direction I wanted to go with the cake. Last minute, I decided to go for more of a land/sky looking cake and stick some characters on top.

My mom was kind enough to make some macaroons for the party! We have both been trying to master them for a year. Those little things are tricky!
The birthday boy in all his cuteness

I tried to match some characters to the food/drinks. This one was "Chill's Drinks and Ice."
"Blast Zone's Bombs" or berries. :)
 "Pop Fizz's Potion"  or jello
 Tree Rex's sticks

 "Shroomboom's bagel bites"
Hog Dog's Little smokies"
 and Leonardo...
