Almost a year later and I'm finally getting around to blogging about our family pictures... I figured I better get a post done before we become a family of FIVE.
Last summer, when I discovered I was pregnant I knew we had to have some family pics taken. We had not had any since Hazel was born and I figured I better document our life as a family of four. I'm so lucky to have such a talented and awesome sister, who happens to be a pro photographer, who was so kind to take some for us.
There was this BEAUTIFUL field full of sunflowers, and I waited just a couple days too late for pics. The sun burnt those poor babies up in like one day. We still managed to find a couple of good spots. It was kind of last minute idea, so I ended up throwing together some quick outfits, but I knew I needed to make matching mother and daughter flower crowns- they were a must! And let me tell you, I have never been called a hippie so much after these pictures.
Hazel definitely ended up being the star during our session. She stood for the first time ever all by herself. She was just like "What's up, I'm going to stand now." The rest of us were kind of a hot mess. We could hardly get Lincoln to stand still or look at the camera. Nate just got his braces off and had no idea how to smile and I felt sooo pregnant bloated. I felt like I was in that weird "is she pregnant, or just put on a little weight" stage. I really thought I was having twins. But, of course my sister did a great job and we LOVE them.
